Fire star service from Jenny and Tim. Made our first experience of hiring a camper a pleasure. Van never missed a beat, was great on fuel and very eye catching after just having had a re spray. Congratulations to the spray painters btw because they really made that red pop. It looked very cool and matched my sunglasses. We spent a great week wondering around Dumfries and Galloway. Just back from a couple of nights away in Carlisle Camper's T4. It was our first time in a camper van and we absolutely loved it. Made all that more better with the great service we got from Carlisle Campers. Booking is really easy, the van was spotless when we picked it up, the customer care was perfect with Jenny spending the time to go through every thing with us when we collected the van so we could make the most of it on our little trip. We will definitely be hiring again and would highly recommend Carlisle Campers to anyone looking to hire a camper van. Steve

After a very thorough handover from Jenny we set off for a tour of Scotland in the T4. The van was very easy to drive and great for moving around visiting a range of places. We found the van to be very comfortable and economical and was perfect for our needs. Having the pop up roof was a great help and gave us ample room to stand up. It was well equipped with all the essentials - pans, utensils, chairs, a table, mattress toppers etc. We had no issue with storage for a week (and could have easily managed longer than a week!) Hired the van to go to Krankenhaus Festival. Excellent communication with Jennifer throughout the hiring process and helpful instruction on collection, The Bongo has everything you need and helped us enjoy a brilliant weekend especially during an overnight downpour of biblical proportions.

We loved the experience of taking our home with us wherever we went, being nomads for a week. Waking up and bedding down surrounded by stunning Lake District scenery was invigorating. The Bongo was compact but very well equipped, reliable and easy to drive but was a little small for the two of us and we would hire the larger van next time. But we are sure there WILL be a next time as we definitely caught the campervan bug! Jenny and Tim were lovely and so helpful.

We hired the van for Glastonbury this year. The van was perfect, drives perfect and is cheap on fuel! Tim & Jenny were sooo helpful when we booked as I had multiple questions and they amended our booking last min so we could have the van a little earlier for the long drive! The bed was comfy and the pop up roof was perfect so we had room to stand up & get changed. We couldn't have asked for a better van or more helpful people! Thanks so much, Emily & Carl xxx

This was my first time hiring a campervan. I am so pleased I hired through Carlisle Campers, as I found the whole experience straight forward, and it was a pleasure to meet Tim and Jenny who immediately put me at ease. I had wanted to do this for a while and decided on the VW T4 which had the high top, also hired the awning for added space and privacy. Everything that was needed was in the van, including outdoor table and chairs for 4 people. All that we needed to add was personal belongings, food and sleeping bags and we were set. Spent four days up Scotland, pre booked permits for two separate locations in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, scenery was stunning and waking up with the sound of the forest coming to life was magical. Was a great trip with breath taking views at every stop. Will definitely be hiring again and would highly recommend Carlisle Campers.

We had a really great and memorable time in the Mazda Bongo, which we hired last minute for the May bank holiday weekend. Jenny and Tim were so friendly and helpful and made the whole experience very easy for us. The bongo itself is a great little runner, drives well and is comfortable. The high top roof means the bongo is great for storage and we found we both slept well, despite one of us being 6ft - this wasn't an issue at all. Perfect for a few nights away and have definitely got the van life bug! Parking up for the night and enjoying a glass of wine and the views was a real treat !Thank you Jenny and Tim, will be in touch again soon!
